A Familiar Pattern
Another chapter… Another band member dead or replaced. That seems to be the pattern in this book. Just when you start to find out about a member or the band starts to get used to his style he either overdoses or quits. For some reason this is only happening to the guitarists, all the other band members are the originals. Why do the Chili Peppers go through so many guitarists? I don’t know, but I am looking forward to finding out. I’m now half way through the book and the band still continues to amaze me in every way, the drugs, the alcohol, the sex. I now know why some of the songs are the way they are and I know the background behind the singer Anthony’s lyrics. It is very interesting and I am looking forward to what happens next.

Maybe guitar players are more prone to drug overdoses? A very interesting observation. Be more specific about why you know why some of the songs are the way they are. What songs? What lyrics in specific?
